The foundations of Nefis Kuruyemiş were laid in 1960 in Gaziantep, also known as Antep. In this city with its rich food culture, our story began with a small shop selling nuts and dried fruit and our first roasting house. With the contribution of the younger generation of leadership, it developed into Nefisso, a brand known across Turkey.
We learned our craft from the ground up. Knowledge and experience are passed from master to apprentice and from one generation to the next. From this foundation, we developed our distinctive process: roasting slowly, gently and twice. These principles continue to shape the unmistakable Nefisso flavour. All ten varieties in our online shop are roasted according to these principles and packed in Turkey.
Our guiding principle remains the same: work with enthusiasm, think professionally and put people first. Through carefully selected products and a special taste experience, we aim to bring joy and earn trust. How the Nefisso Standard began
Before Nefisso became known as a brand in its own right, our roastery also roasted and packed products for other brands. Customers could choose between a classic roast and our more elaborate double roast. Combined with the careful selection of ingredients, it developed a distinctive and unmistakable flavour. This special approach became known as the Nefisso Standard. Today, the term still represents our highest quality standard, traditional double roasting and the unmistakable Nefisso flavour.
